Ms. Barwick is a graduate of University College, London. She joined Mondrian in the Spring of 1993 to cover the Pacific Basin markets. Prior to this, she spent 3 years at Touche, Remnant & Co. in London as an assistant portfolio manager and research analyst. Ms. Barwick is a member of the CFA Society of the UK.
John Beck

John Beck is a senior member of the 100-strong Franklin Templeton Fixed
Income Group, which currently manages £76.3bn. He is Co-Director of Global Fixed
Income in London.
John is responsible for managing portfolios for retail and institutional
investors, including the two recently launched OEIC funds: Templeton Global
Total Return Bond and Templeton Strategic Bond funds.
Prior to joining the firm in 1990 John worked for Saudi International Bank. John
has an MA from Exeter College, Oxford University.

Jose Cuervo (London) is a fund manager in the global emerging markets equity team and has been working in the industry since 1996. Prior to joining Halbis in 2000, Jose completed the HSBC Global Graduate Program after working for Phillips, Hager & North Investment Management Ltd. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a Finance specialisation from the Faculty of Commerce, University of British Columbia, where he was a member of the UBC Dean of Commerce Portfolio Management Foundation. He is a CFA charterholder.
Mark Darell-Brown

Mark Darell-Brown, Director, UK Equities and Chief Investment Officer ( Equities), joined RAB Capital in August 2001 and, along with Steven Thompson, is joint investment manager of the RAB UK Fund, Elite-RAB UK Dynamic Fund and associated managed accounts. He was previously responsible for the management of UK equity fund portfolios on behalf of retail and institutional clients at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (previously Mercury Asset Management), from 1993 to 2001, as well as managing the Merrill Lynch British Blue Chip Fund. In addition, Mark held research responsibilities across a wide range of UK equity sectors and was a member of the Pan European Asset Allocation Committee. Mark has a BSc from St Andrew’s University and is FSA registered.
Alex Darwall

Alex Darwall joined Jupiter in 1995. He is a Director of Jupiter Asset Management Limited and heads up the Jupiter European Team while also managing the Jupiter European Fund (Unit Trust), the Jupiter European Opportunities Trust, the Jupiter European Growth Fund (SICAV), one specialist European Equity mandate and the Jupiter European Fund (Jersey Feeder). Alex originally joined Jupiter to run the European portion of a number of segregated pension fund accounts, subsequently taking responsibility for other accounts including County Council pension funds (European portion). In 1999, he assumed management of the Jupiter European Investment Trust and subsequently the rollover vehicle, the Jupiter European Opportunities Trust (Investment Trust), which launched in November 2000. Alex trained as an investment analyst with de Zoete & Bevan (BZW) before moving to Enskilda Securities in Paris in 1987, where he became head of French equity research. He joined Goldman Sachs in London in 1992, where he worked as a French equity analyst prior to moving to Jupiter. Alex studied History at Cambridge University.
Quentin Fitzsimmons

Quentin Fitzsimmons is head of government bonds at Threadneedle. He began his career in 1991 at Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada, where he progressed to senior investment analyst before moving to the Equitable Life Assurance Society in 1994 as senior portfolio manager. He then joined F&C (formerly Foreign & Colonial) Investment Management in 1999 and became director of fixed interest (UK bonds) before joining Threadneedle in September 2003. Quentin is responsible for managing a variety of institutional and retail fixed income portfolios. He graduated in 1989 from the University of Bristol with a BSc in economics and economic history.
Bradley George

Bradley was appointed Head of Commodities and Resources at Investec Asset
Management in 2006.
He joined the Investec, London office after spending 7 years at Goldman Sachs
where he worked as an Executive Director in the Commodity Division, involved in
selling the GSCI to investors and Commodity Hedging products to Resource
Corporates. Before that he worked in the Goldman Sachs’ Investment Banking
Division, on Natural Resources M&A transactions in both London and South
Africa. Before that he worked for 3 years at KPMG in the Financial Services
Division, Treasury Advisory Group, consulting to clients on financial
derivatives risk management.
Bradley graduated from the University of Cape Town with an Honours degree in
Finance, B.Bus.Sci in 1994. He completed his Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting
(PGDA) from the University of Cape Town in 1995. In 1998 he was awarded the
Chartered Accountant designation CA(SA) from the Public Accountants’ and
Auditors’ Board.
Michael Jennings

After graduating with a BA Honours in 1989, Michael Jennings joined Sarasin
Investment Management where he became a Director. Whilst there, he pioneered the
concept of ‘thematic investment’ with the launch of the successful range of
Equistar global equity funds.
In 2001 Michael moved to Morley Fund Management as Head of Global Equities where
he built up a successful franchise and accumulated $5 billion of assets under
management over his six year tenure.
Finally, in March 2008, Michael joined Premier Asset Management as Senior
Investment Manager, Global Equities, with the goal of replicating previous
success.
The May 2008 launch of the Premier Global DSR Fund seeks long term absolute
return for investors through a risk controlled process whose core is a portfolio
of high quality global equities.
John Millar

Martin Currie
John joined Martin Currie’s Japan team in 2000 and was made a director of the
company in 2002. He is manager of our Japan Oeic and Sicav funds and manages the
Martin Currie Pacific Trust. John came to us from Stewart Ivory, where he had
been head of the Europe team since the company’s takeover by Colonial First
State. Before that he worked on the Europe and the Japan desks. He joined
Stewart Ivory as a graduate trainee.
Bradley Mitchell

Bradley joined RLAM in February 2004 as a UK Equity Fund Manager. With a real passion for fund management, Bradley is responsible for managing a number of specialist funds within RLAM’s equity range, including the UK Growth Trust, the Scottish Life Ethical Equity Fund and the United Friendly Special Situations Fund. He also manages the equity component of the Royal London UK Equity and Income Investment Trust. A proven bottom up stock picker, Bradley uses his own fundamental research and analysis to develop insights into each company he invests in.

François Mouté has a total of more than 35 years of experience in the financial
markets. He began his career as a financial analyst at Crédit National and
pursued it as fund manager at Banque de Suez, before opening the Paris and Z
urich offices of the American broker, Donaldson Lufkin Jenrette. He was a
director of Bear Stearns in Geneva and New York and later Schroders in Paris and
Geneva. He founded Swiss investment management company Chester White & Co,
of which he was Chairman for more than 15 years. He has been in charge of the
American investments of the Neuflize group since 2000, and was appointed
Chairman of Neuflize Private Assets in December 2002. He is a director of Lynx
in Washington DC.
Daniel Nickols

Nick joined Allianz Global Investors in October 2000 as Head of Institutional and Retail Marketing. In November 2001, he assumed his current role as Head of Fund Distribution for Allianz Global Investors in the UK. In 2007, he was given oversight responsibility for building the firm’s business in Central and Eastern Europe and in the Middle East. Prior to joining Allianz Global Investors, Nick was Head of Marketing for Investec Asset Management and has 20 years of funds marketing experience. He graduated from the London School of Economics with a Law degree in 1983.

Mark joined AXA Framlington in November 2006 as a portfolio manager for Global Equity. Previously, he was at Execution Limited, where he worked as Global Strategist from 2002. Before this, he spent 4 years at Commerzbank as Head of Equity and Debt Strategy, having spent the years 1994 to 1998 first with HSBC James Capel, joining the foremost research house in Europe as Head of UK Strategy, and then with UBS Warburg, where he ran their Pan European Equity Strategy team. Mark began his career as an economist at Williams and Glynn (now RBS) and then CS Buckmaster and Moore, before moving to Equity Strategy at Kleinwort Benson.

Tom joined Norwich Union Investment Management in 1999 to develop options and
derivatives strategies. He co-founded the global convertibles funds in April,
2002.
Previously, he spent four years at Citibank (New York and London) in derivatives
research, working with corporate treasurers and investment clients.He also spent
six years at Ernst & Young (Toronto, Geneva and New York), first as a
Financial Services Audit Manager and later as a consultant working with the
hedge fund industry.
Tom is a Canadian Chartered Accountant, and a Chartered Financial Analyst. He
holds an MBA degree from Oxford and a Bachelor of Commerce & Finance from
the University of Toronto, Canada.
