David Dalton-BrownDavid Dalton-Brown

David Dalton-Brown joined Fidelity in March 2005 with a mandate to develop the FundsNetwork proposition for intermediaries into the pre/post retirement marketplace. Since then the platform has grown, offering a choice of tax wrappers – including ISA, SIPP, onshore and offshore bonds as well as a range of multi-asset trusts and continues to innovate to provide the open architecture fund based platform solutions that advisers are looking for.

Prior to joining Fidelity, David was Business Development Director at Prudential and gained wide ranging experience in the platform and financial services sector working for Norwich Union, KPMG and Ernst & Young. He has a BSc (Hons) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from Brunel University.

Alex DarwallAlex Darwall

Alex Darwall joined Jupiter in 1995. He is a Director of Jupiter Asset Management Limited and heads up the Jupiter European Team while also managing the Jupiter European Fund (Unit Trust), the Jupiter European Opportunities Trust, the Jupiter European Growth (SICAV), and two specialist European Equity mandates. Alex trained as an investment analyst with de Zoete & Bevan (BZW) before moving to Enskilda Securities in Paris in 1987, where he became head of French equity research. He joined Goldman Sachs in London in 1992, where he worked as a French equity analyst prior to moving to Jupiter. Alex studied History at Cambridge University.

Dirk Enderlein, CFA

Senior Portfolio Manager

Dirk joined RCM in 1999 as a portfolio manager on the European equity
team, focusing on small to mid caps and subsequently large cap stocks.
He currently heads the Investment Style Leader/ Growth team for European
equities and is based in Franfurt. Prior to joining RCM, Dirk worked at
Credit Lyonnais Capital Markets on the German desk for the sales &
structuring of interest rate derivatives. He has 10 years of industry experience and holds a Master‘s degree in Business & Engineering from the University of Technology in Dresden and also holds the CFA qualification

Michael Kostantinov

Head of Global Emerging Markets, RCM

Michael started his career in Corporate Finance at Dresdner Bank in 1991. After an investment banking trainee program he joined RCM in 1994 as portfolio manager for European equities, with emphasis on Spain and Eastern Europe. Since 1998 he has been head of the Global Emerging Markets Equities Team. Michael holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Frankfurt, Germany, and the Eastern Illinois University, USA.

Gabriel Micheli joined Pictet Asset Management in 2006 and is an Investment Manager in the Sector & Theme Funds team. He manages the Timber and the Clean Energy Funds.
Gabriel graduated with a degree in Economics from the University of St. Gallen.

Malcolm MillarMalcolm Millar

Malcolm Millar joined Jupiter in 2002, and manages the Jupiter European Income Fund (Unit Trust). He has managed Pan-European funds since May 2003. Malcolm qualified as a Chartered Accountant in PricewaterhouseCoopers’ middle market division before working on PwC’s Public Company Corporate Finance Advisory Team. He also holds the Securities Institute Diploma and a BA from Oxford in Philosophy, Politics and Economics.

Jason McCay

Martin Currie

Jason is an executive director and head of our Asia and global emerging markets team. He is lead manager of the Martin Currie Asia Pacific Fund and Martin Currie Absolute Return Funds – Asia. Jason came to Martin Currie in 1998, having held research roles with Deutsche Morgan Grenfell and Peregrine Securities, both in Indonesia. Before that, Jason spent three years with Edinburgh Fund Managers as an investment manager, and three with Alliance Trust as an analyst.

Gertjan van der Geer

Gertjan van der Geer joined Pictet Asset Management in 2008 and is a Senior Investment Manager in the Sector & Theme Funds team.

Before joining Pictet, he worked for two years at Robeco in Rotterdam as a senior portfolio manager for the Food & Agriculture Fund. Gertjan began his career in 2001 at Fortis MeesPierson as an asset manager in the Private Banking division.

Gertjan graduated with a degree in Business Economics and Financial Economics from the Free University of Amsterdam. He is a certified EFFAS (European Federation of Financial Analysts Societies) financial analyst.

Tom WalkerTom Walker

Martin Currie

Tom manages Martin Currie’s North American funds and the Martin Currie Portfolio Investment Trust. He joined us to lead our Pacific Basin team in 1996, and moved to head the North America team in 1998. Tom came to Martin Currie after working in Hong Kong with Baring Asset Management, where he managed the Greater China Fund Inc and Baring’s Hong Kong Fund. Before that, Tom spent six years with Edinburgh Fund Managers. Initially covering the UK and other European markets, he went on to specialise in Asia (ex-Japan) and became head of that team in 1991.

Chris Wright

Chris joined Premier in 2008 from Thames River Capital where he managed the successful Tybourne hedge fund and was part of the European hedge fund team. He has over 24 years experience in the investment industry and brings with him a wealth of pan-European equity and derivative experience. Chris is a member of the UK Society of Investment Professionals.

Lord Young of Graffham

Born in 1932, David Young was educated at Christ’s College, Finchley and University College, London where he gained a degree in Law. He was admitted as a solicitor in 1956 and joined Great Universal Stores in 1956 before becoming chairman of Eldonwall Ltd (1961-74); Manufacturers Hanover Property Services (1974-84); Cable and Wireless (1990-95) and Neocorp (1997-2002).

Lord Young was the Director of the Centre for Policy Studies (1979-82) and Chairman of the Manpower Services Commission (1980-82) as well as Member of the National Economic Development Council (1982-89). He became Deputy Chairman of the Conservative Party (1989-90). David Young became Secretary of State for Employment (1985-87) after two years as Minister without Portfolio and went on to serve as Secretary of State for Trade and Industry (1987-89).

Lord Young has served in many voluntary capacities and has a lifelong concern for promoting the interests and development of young people and those experiencing disadvantage. He is the author of The Enterprise Years: a businessman in the Cabinet (1990) and Degrees of Isolation (2005), a photographic record of the ice cap. He is married with children and grandchildren.
